How should I pack the item and why should I take photos?

Packaging

Below is an overview of the overall requirements:

• Use strong outer packaging. It is best to use a cardboard box that matches the size and weight of the article. The box should be in good condition and protect the item from moisture and dirt during transport (do not use normal paper bags). If an item is heavier than normal, we recommend using two or three layers of cardboard boxes. As a Parcel is mechanically sorted, it must be able to withstand at least a diagonal drop test from a height of 80 cm and have a pressure resistance of 100 kg. Furthermore, the packaging should be such that the contents are protected from bad weather, such as rain and snow.
• Use suitable filling material for the inside. Fill the empty space to prevent objects from touching and shifting on the outside. You can use bubble wrap, foam, paper, newspaper or corrugated cardboard. Packages should be packed tearproof and leakproof and in such a way that the contents cannot move inside the package.

• Properly attach the label to the package by sticking it flat on the largest side of the package. Make sure the barcode is fully visible. Print the label (make sure the label is clearly legible) and stick it with adhesive tape or high-quality tape. Use tape for all four edges of the shipping label, but do not cover the barcode. Do not stick the shipping label to corners, edges or seams of the box and make sure you have removed old stickers and shipping labels.

• Protect fragile items. Fragile items should be shipped separately from other items. Make sure these types of packages are clearly marked with the word 'fragile'. Definitely do not use paper bags for fragile items.

• Send several items together. If you are sending multiple items to the same address (with one shipping label), make sure they are in one package and not packed separately or tied together. Otherwise, the parcel service may refuse them.

• Package are closed with tape in such a way that it is impossible to open it without traces.

Keep in mind that different parcel services may have different rules. Make sure you follow these rules, otherwise the parcel service may refuse your parcel.

Taking photos

It is important to take two photos: one photo of the inside of the package including how the item is packed and one photo of the outside of the package including the shipping label. These photos serve as proof of the condition in which the item was sent and are essential in the event of any disputes about damage in transit.
