Rectangular vintage dining table where the extension is under the top. The legs are a slightly darker color than the top. The top of the kitchen table is a lighter wood and is veneered, the legs solid. The table has a high gloss finish. The wood is orange/red.
Supposedly the table is from Fristho, it is not marked but the table was purchased in the same timely manner with a wall cabinet in the 1960s. They were in the same color, wood and finish. The highboard has already been sold separately. Possibly I still have the chairs (4 pieces) that go with it.
- The table could be a little higher by putting some thicker felt under it.
- The ideal of the table that the extendable part of the table remains in the table.
- The system of extension works ok but works better in pairs.
- Leaf can be extended per part, so do not need both at the same time.
- The legs of the table can be easily disassembled if necessary just like the rest of the table making it easy to move.
size not extended - 120x80cm, height: 75cm
size extended - 169 or 218 x80cm, height; 75cm
Because the products I offer are not new goods, but original 50s, 60s, 70s, everyday items, age typical signs of use and time-typical patina may occur. Photos are part of the item description.
The table will be well packed with care for during transport. I add items regularly but by no means everything is online. If you are looking for a particular item, please send me a message!
If you have questions about a particular item, please send me a message:) This can be in English, Dutch, German or French:)At first glance, the dining table does look like new and is in very solid condition. However, there are some superficial scratches in the lacquer. There is also a color difference in the leaves and extension leaves. You can clearly see which leaf has always been extended on the sun side and which has not.
