Vintage Knoll Antimott Seating Set – Sofa Bed + 2 Lounge Chairs – Mid Century 1960s/70s Rare and beautifully preserved vintage Knoll Antimott seating suite, comprising a three-seat sofa bed and two matching lounge armchairs. Approximately 50 years old, the set features the characteristic aesthetics of European Mid-Century Modern furniture: substantial wooden frames, beautifully shaped wide armrests, clean architectural lines and deep red/burgundy upholstery. The combination of warm-toned wood and rich red fabric gives the set a particularly elegant appearance and makes it an excellent statement ensemble for a Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian-inspired or 1960s/1970s interior. The furniture comes from a holiday home, where it was only occasionally used, and it was stored for extended periods. Considering its age, the complete suite remains in remarkably good overall vintage condition. The two armchairs are in very good condition, without any obvious visible damage. The sofa incorporates a fully functional folding/sleeper mechanism. There is a small area of age-related damage/slight bulging to the supporting fabric, which does not affect normal use or functionality.
