The Cassina Grand Confort Armchair is a classic design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
. Since 1965, Italian Cassina has been publishing the beautiful LC series, but the design itself dates back to 1928. At this time, Le Corbusier was working with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret in a studio in Paris. The great success came in 1927, when they decided to collaborate with a young architect: Charlotte Perriand. Many design successes followed from this fruitful collaboration, including the Grand Confort Armchair. A paragon of modern design that we can still call modern almost 100 years later!
Unlike the petit version, this version features wider dimensions in width and has a lower seat height of 40 centimeters. Characteristic of the model are the low back and the steel frame that holds the loose cushions togetherNormal wear from use.
