The ad states that the seller will arrange shipping. How does that work?
When a seller is responsible for shipping the item themselves, this means they arrange and fulfill the shipping arrangements without direct intervention from Whoppah. The shipping costs are included in the sales price.
Important: Payment for your purchase is always processed through Whoppah, even if the seller arranges shipping themselves. This guarantees you're protected as a buyer. The seller only receives the payment once the purchase has been paid in full and securely through Whoppah. This protects you from fraud, for example, when a seller requests payment directly outside of Whoppah.
You always pay through the Whoppah platform and don't receive payment requests directly from the seller via email, chat, or other channels. Be aware of suspicious messages or phishing attempts that try to get you to pay outside of Whoppah. Therefore, also read our article about phishing and suspicious messages to protect yourself.
As a buyer and seller, you can make your own shipping arrangements, but always pay via Whoppah for safe and reliable transactions.
