Wim Strijbosch, who made this poster, was a graphic artist, graphic designer, wall painter, painter, draftsman, monumental artist, and academy teacher. He was only 40 years old, but left behind a versatile oeuvre. His daughter Judith Strijbosch (1957) used the estate to map his work and life on a website. This way, the well-known and much sought-after artist will not be forgotten.
He made some beautiful posters. A number of them are on that website, including this one from 1963.
His posters are regularly auctioned. See pictures.
The poster has never been hung and is shipped in a sturdy poster tube.
