Dutch Design, Made in Holland! Model: 353. This stylish vintage design floor lamp was produced by Willem Hagoort. Period: 1960. A special shaped lamp with beautiful detail the teak bobbins under the base and beautiful lampshade. Lamp has 3 positions that can be lit separately. Illuminates your ceiling attractively. Made of nickel and teak feet - Mid-Century modern style. Beautiful design through its simplicity. This floor lamp fits perfectly in a minimalist or eclectic interior. Considering its age still in good vintage condition. Wonderful for in the room, hallway, bedroom or any place you choose.
Willem HAGOORT
Early in his career, Hagoort worked for companies such as Gispen and Ahrend, where he developed innovative office furniture. In 1982 he founded his own design studio, Hagoort & Partners, where he created products for brands such as Flos, Philips and Artemide.
Hagoort is known for his innovative and creative approach to design, combining organic forms with modern materials such as aluminum and plastic. He is best known for his Tolomeo desk lamp, created in collaboration with Italian designer Michele de Lucchi, which has become a contemporary design classic.
Throughout his career, Hagoort has received many awards for his work, including the Compasso d'Oro prize in 1995 for the Tolomeo lamp. He was also named Dutch Designer of the Year in 2002. Hagoort retired in 2012, but his work continues to be exhibited in museums and galleries around the world.
