West German Ceramic Ankara Fat Lava vase Carstens Tönnieshof, from the 60s/70s. This vase is executed in the famous 'Ankara' glaze in green and black fat lava glaze. Bottom is marked 435/38. The possible designer is Heinz Siery and was produced by the company Carstens Tönnieshof. It is made of earthenware ceramic and has a very unique surface texture. A highly collectible item from the Carstens Tönnieshof collection. The object has a very sculptural shape.
