Beautiful well maintained armchair from the 90s in Aluminum and black Leather. Vitra Aluminum Chair EA 115 was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1958, while the EA 115 has a fixed base. The Aluminum Chair EA 115 offers excellent comfort thanks to its high backrest. The seat height is designed so that users can easily get up from the chair. The Aluminum Chair is one of the great furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames conceived and developed this chair in 1958 for the private home of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). In its construction, the designer couple departed from the seat shell principle, but stretched a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminum side beams to create a tight but elastic seat. The chair conforms to the sitter's body and is extremely comfortable even without extensive upholstery.Small non-intrusive scratches.
