Vintage Tulip chair designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965. This chair with armrests was manufactured by the renowned company Artifort.
This Tulip chair has since become a true design icon. The design is not only elegant but also provides comfortable seating. Also, the chair can rotate around its axis.
This copy is an earlier version with faux leather in a rather rare blue color.
Furthermore, the chair is marked both under the seat and at the bottom of the base (see photos).
A pure design classic!The chair is in nice vintage condition with slight signs of use. These involve light scratches on the base. The faux leather has some age wear in the form of minor scuffs or scratches and some fine craquelé but add to the beautiful patina and in my personal opinion are not distracting (see photos). Nowhere are the scratches through the faux leather so there are no tears.
