Ikea Vintage Key Clock offered in excellent condition. No damage, the timepiece runs like a charm and in, in my opinion, the coolest color available!
I notice that, unlike others I have seen, this clock actually has the 1995 year on the label and has a stamped instead of printed number on the right side, which makes me think this is one of the earlier models!

The IKEA PS wall clock is part of the permanent collection of the National Museum of Sweden, as an example of leading Swedish design. This is how iconic this small keyhole-shaped clock, designed by architect and designer Thomas Eriksson, has become.
The clock was part of a design project started by IKEA during the first half of the 1990s. IKEA engaged three strong design profiles that all represented a modern, minimalist expression: Stefan Ytterborn, Thomas Sandell and Thomas Eriksson. The collection is said to be a tribute to traditional Scandinavian style and was in stark contrast to the more extravagant, kitschy design of the 1980s. The collection was named IKEA PS, because it was a kind of postscript to the standard range.
IKEA PS was launched in 1995 at the International Furniture Fair in Milan, under the motto “Democratic Design”. These words summarize the ambition to create products with good design, high quality, good functionality and sustainable production. All this at a low price that was affordable for many people. The collection was very well received.
The clock, which was available in different colors and could also be used for small storage, became one of the stars of the collection. Thomas Eriksson was inspired by the top part of old-fashioned grandfather clocks, but the expression in the IKEA PS clock was completely modern. This clock was sold at IKEA until 2005.
