Great vintage floor lamp by Martinelli Luce, called Serpente. Designed in 1965 by the founder and namesake of the brand, Elio Martinelli.
The shade is made of methyl acrylate, a very advanced material for the time. The metal arm can rotate on the hinge. This allows, among other things, the appearance of a "Serpente" (snake), to be created.
The lamp is in excellent condition with only slight signs of use.
