This exceptional 1960s kitchen table combines the clear design language of the post-war era with a particularly well-thought-out and functional construction. The ensemble includes two matching square stools, coordinated with the table in design and color. A side pull-out leaf allows the table surface to be significantly extended if required. Another special feature is the fully foldable top table surface. Beneath it is a generous, divided storage space, which was originally probably intended for storing kitchen utensils and other items. The preserved spring mechanism supports the opening of the top. Additionally, the table has a large central drawer with a classic shell handle. The combination of turquoise, mint, and grey gives the set its unmistakable retro character. The colored surfaces were reworked at a later date and are not part of the original design. Condition: Authentic vintage condition with signs of age and use. The surfaces show scratches, color abrasion, minor paint chips, and dents. The metal fittings also show age-related patina. Dimensions: Table: L 109/160 × W 69 × H 79 cm Bottom edge: H 62.5 cm Stool: L 33 × W 33 × H 47.5 cm
