intage beautifully designed and large hanging lamp designed by Bent Gantzel Boysen (known for the Duett hanging lamp) for IKEA. Period: 1980s. Published in the IKEA catalog in 1982 with the name "GALAX". No longer in the 1986 catalogue, so extremely rare! Marked: Ikea, type T103-2. The lamp consists of a white metal center tube with a white plastic inner shade and a white metal outer shade. Under the plastic inner hood there is a second, wider tube that ensures that you do not look directly into the light. All parts are connected via three transparent plexiglass supports. Beautiful Scandinavian design.
The lamp is in very good, original and working condition.
Size: height: 30 cm, diameter: 60.5 cm. Total height including cord 95cm. E27 socket. Supplied with white ceiling rose and exclusive light bulb.
