What a great brown seventies lamp! This table lamp is from the Dutch manufacturer Herda (Amsterdam-Duivendrecht). In the 60s and 70s, Herda was known for designs that fit perfectly with that era: brown, orange, Perspex, fat lava. Everything vintage enthusiasts go for today. Can be used as a reading lamp, desk lamp, for intricate work at the table, or simply as vintage accent lighting. It is 70s brown; a matte (fine texture) coating that has only a few tiny chips in very small spots. Certainly not very visible or distracting. A standard E27 fitting and a fully intact cord + plug. The inside of the shade is coated in silver. The control button on the base is sublime: a joy to press. Dimensions: Base: diameter 16cm Height: 40cm Width: 30cm Shade diameter 15.5cm Weight: 1.2kg
