Perfection in a piece of furniture; vintage Danish sideboard designed by Jensen & Molholm. Unique piece found in Denmark and manufactured by Ærthøj Jensen & Mølholm Herning in the 1960s. The company was founded in 1952 by Ærthøj Jensen and Take Mølholm. To this day, the company, now known as BoConcept, is one of the most successful exporters of Danish design with more than 300 stores in more than 60 different countries.
The sideboard draws design: primarily, the purpose of design is to enhance or improve the experience or use of a product. The drawers still function as new, as do the sliding doors on the right and left sides. Jens and Tage built on the principles for which Danish design is admired worldwide. Simplicity, craftsmanship, elegant functionality and quality materials. Everything comes together here.
The sideboard is in very good condition. Little to no signs of use, despite 60 years of use. The sideboard has been polished and put in an appropriate Danish oil.
