Product description
The Diamond Chair is one of the purest pieces of mid-century design. Harry Bertoia designed it for Knoll in 1952, and as a sculptor he saw it as a study in space: a seat made “mainly of air” that space passes right through.
This is the small version (model 421) in its original black coating, pre-1986 model.
Condition
In excellent vintage condition with normal signs of age. The only change is that the screws in the glides have been renewed.
Included
The original skai seat pad. It has stiffened with age, so it works better as a historical piece or for re-covering than for daily use.
