Ceiling lamp from the Thabur Ruton factory in The Hague. The lamp is made of glass and has a typical Art Deco design.
The lamp has a beautiful pastel pink color.
Thabur was based in The Hague and made these globe lamps between 1920 and 1949. In their early years, Thabur had 5 employees and they were located in Annastraat in The Hague. When Jozeph Blik became the director of Thabur in 1925, the company took off and by 1931 it employed no fewer than 40 people. Another 7 years later there were 400! Thabur made lampshades of very high quality and because of this they are still in great condition after 100 years.
