Very comfortable lounge chair designed in the 1940s and reupholstered with gold-colored velvet fabric sometime in the 1960s.
The oak legs were also stained dark in a later period. Presumably at the same time that the chair was reupholstered.
The springs and tension straps are all in good condition and the chair still supports very well.
Overall, the chair is in good and clean condition.
