Beautiful (fruit) bowl on foot, almost 100 years old, made by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Bonn (Germany) in the years 1920-1925.
The fruit bowl still gives a modern (vintage) look due to the beautiful deep color scheme, so it can be placed in any interior.
It is the factory in Bonn, which was taken over by Villeroy & Boch from Steingutfabrik Franz Anton Mehlem in 1920. Ultimately the factory was closed again by Villeroy & Boch in 1931.
The shell shows no defects or cracks, which is exceptional for this age.
You don't come across this bowl very often, which makes it rare.
