Artisan forged figure adorned with welding bubbles from the year 2022. Unique copy by sculptor Jean-Luc Bertel. The source of inspiration was Federico Garcia Lorca's poem "If I die, bury me in a weather vane". Forging is a form of sculpting. The unique figure was created between hammer, fire and anvil. Jean-Luc Bertel makes surreal sculptures in wrought iron, sometimes in combination with other materials. He regularly exhibited in the Garemijnzaal, Belfry, Bruges in addition to pop-up exhibitions at various locations and galleries. The material and technique used by the artist are completely integrated into the result. After all, the viewer no longer realizes that the creation was created between hammer and anvil. The work is in excellent condition. The corrosion was stabilized by a coating that gives the work a nice shine. The work can be placed indoors or outdoors. Dimensions are 130 cm high x 60 cm wide. Base plate 30 cm x30 cm. Weight 22 kg. Unique signed work from 2022.
