Born in Calabria, Italy, artist UMANO PRIMO - The Elemental Man expresses himself through "paillettes".
The images, which he creates, UMANO PRIMO calls: "Frozen Images." "Freezing" means preserving - preserving with a distinct purpose, because the "paillette" gives his work not only form but at the same time a bizarre content.
To understand something in our life means to see through its simplicity: all the seemingly complicated is, in reality, a construction of the simple. He who fathoms the causes, understands the consequences - he who sees through the simple, sees through life.
With the symbol of the very simple - the elemental "paillette" - UMANO PRIMO expresses the omnipresent, all-connecting simplicity - a simplicity that forms a union.
A "Frozen Image" is about causal simplicity the simplicity that is everywhere hidden in the most wonderful, dreamlike connections. A "Frozen Image" is an ever-changing experiential moment-recording a movement at rest a balance in exposition-a source of contemplation and introspection.
