Purple glass table lamp from the Rupel (also often attributed to Holmegaard).
This beautiful lamp from the 1960s was made of mouth-blown opaline glass at De Rupel's factory in Belgium, commissioned by Massive (also in Belgium). The lamp has a light point under the shade as well as in the base.
The lampshade is not the original shade, but was specially and handcrafted using African fabric to match the look of this particular lamp.

Overall height: 57 cm.
Height of lampshade: 28 cm.
Diameter lampshade: 25 cm.
Diameter lamp base: 20.5 cm.
Diameter aluminum base: 14.5 cm.
The wiring of this lamp has been completely checked where the cord and plug (2-pin EU plug) have been replaced. The lamp has an E27 socket at the top and an E14 socket in the base.
The lamp is in good vintage condition. Some weathering can be seen on the aluminum base of the lamp (see photo 9).
