This is the very exclusive #1 Tammi Aurinko (Finnish for Oak Sun), made of real (!) oak wood, encased in synthetic resin and aluminum. Hung at the Dutch Design Style Week in 2016. Valentijn de Vos only designed two of these unique pieces, but they did not come into production. This one here is #1 and features a personal thank you dedication (removable) to the artist who executed the design and encapsulated the oak in resin. If you wish, I will put you in touch with him.
The lamp has been stored unused in a protective box and is in fact brand new. The last 3 photos were taken from behind the 'shield' and the mounting plate...
