The design was Winner of the ' Interior Innovation Award' on behalf of the German Design Council.

Designer Alfredo Häberli: “The idea was to design a social, warm yet visually lightweight table. The type of construction (sheet metal and wood) has drawn its inspiration from the modern details of the carpentry crafts; the console and joist pendants made of plain steel have their sophisticated rebirth. Different colors of the metal parts provide the table with different characters. I deliberately added a bar just above the floor, which serves to place your feet on”. This detail used to be part of many tables in the cafes of the 1920s and is now integrated in a contemporary way”.
Sustainability: Stammtisch tables are made of sustainable materials, which can be disassembled and sanded/lacquered for a new life or recycled.
