Authentic sculpture in blown glass by the Italian artist glass master Silvio Vigliaturo. Silvio Vigliaturo was born in Acri (Cosenza, Italy) in 1949. As a child he moved to Chieri (Turin), where he currently lives and works. He is a master of glass melting and his technique is internationally appreciated and considered unique in its form by the most important critics of Italian and international art. Labeled Homo Faber, his works are first designed, then interpreted and experienced through a constant symbiotic relationship between the mind and industriality, consciousness and craftsmanship, creativity and visual penetration. In 2006 it was chosen by the city of Turin as the sole artistic sign for the Winter Olympics, the inauguration took place of the MACA - the Civic Contemporary Art Museum Silvio Vigliaturo. In 2008, the artist was named as the reference in the world of the UNICAL, University of Calabria. PAT22255
