The artist draws inspiration from contact with the elements of earth, water and wind and the horizon.
The horizon: an imaginary line between water and air, between earth and sky, separation of elements, end of a perspective.
There I am, face to face with that unfathomable perspective. From that view I take photographs and transform them into an abstract play of lines.
"Suppose I can turn every color in the sky into a horizon, a straight line. And the horizon is the end of my perspective. Then I could choose from a kaleidoscope of perspectives, a dizzying perspective"!
Thus is created the Sealines collection, abstracted seascapes, distinguished by a subtle color palette, a great perspective, and a mystical atmosphere.

The artist exhibits in the Netherlands including in Rotterdam, Ouddorp, Hoek van Holland, Vlaardingen, Maassluis

The artist has as background completed education as a designer ( TU Delft) and as a Yoga Teacher ( Iyengar Yoga).
