'Fauteuil de Repos' lounge armchair designed by architect René Herbst in 1927.
This "Sandows" armchair was executed around 1979 by the Dutch brand Kollektor Perpetuel.
Kollektor Perpetuel promoted modernist designs by renowned architects from the interwar period.
This armchair is number 63 from an edition of a total of 100 made around 1979. By the way, there is a chance that not even 100 copies were eventually produced at the time. The armchair is in good condition and has an authentic look with patina. This is how the webbing looks used. The webbing is elastic and the armchair is fine to sit in, but because of the elasticity one sags quite a bit. New webbing can probably be ordered online, but really this seating machine belongs as a statement piece or objet d'art.
