Iconic modernist design coat rack, design attributed to top designer Roger Feraud, black metal frame with wooden colored spheres, reproduction after a model from the 1950s, France.
In 1951, the American chemist Llinus Carl Pauling shaped DNA as a string of spheres and rods, Roger Feraud was inspired and fascinated by this fact. So he designed a series of coat racks with black, solid steel frame, decorated with his typical, painted, wooden balls.
In very clean condition, with some signs of use on the colored wooden balls (mainly the yellow ones) and on the metal frame, but nothing disturbing, check the photos for more details!
