Tuamotu Vase '2009
Vase slightly rough on the outside with the inside opening up in a wide collar of smooth mother of pearl. Rooze designed this for the exhibition at the Van Gogh Museum named 'Paul Gauguin and the breakthrough into modernity'. Impressions of the South Pacific named after the Tuamotu archipelago in France Polynesia, resulting in a series of vases with the colors of Paul Gauguin's Tahitian landscape in mind.
