The autumn of 2011 began with a brilliant exhibition with only the best works of Jan Sluijters.
More than 80 works are on display at the Singer Laren Museum. For this exhibition, Richard Rooze design a number of glass items inspired by the works of one of the innovators of the Dutch painting of the early 20th century. "The Spanish Dancer" dating from 1907, a period when the Art Nouveau on its way out and Sluijters focuses on the avant garde Fauvist style.
The vase with its contemporary forms and stylistic elements from this period in a limited number made.
