Beautiful Dutch modernist coat rack, which is almost a sculpture an sich. Originally this type of coat rack, called Toonladder was designed by Coen de Vries in 1953 in round tube for a model home of Goed wonen. This first version had hooks made of bent plasticized electrical wire. Tjerk Reijenga released the coat rack in 1955 in an updated form under the name Servo Muto with a square frame. This coat rack of black lacquered metal features a hat shelf, three large hooks and 5 colored hooks in white, black, yellow and red.
