A TRUE COLLECTOR'S ITEM
Cool Black and white photographs immortalize the performances and offstage lives of more than 100 renowned jazz musicians who have forged Blue Note Records' legendary reputation. Blue Note Records - co-founded in 1939 by Alfred Lion and Francis Wolff - is dedicated to recording the greatest musicians in jazz history. Wolff's photographs, taken between 1948 and 1969, capture the stars in action: performing on stage, during recording sessions or cutting stylish silhouettes in the city.
