Master photographer Peter Lik has made it his life's work to photograph the most beautiful natural landscapes in the world. It's all about taking the perfect photo - and to do that he travels to all corners of the world.
The child of Czech immigrants, Lik was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. Since then, he has traveled the Glove to become one of the most acclaimed photographers of the natural world.
In the mid-1980s, Lik traveled to the United States to photograph all 50 states. Lik then spent years traveling the rugged outback of his native Australia, documenting places that few people had seen.
He has been awarded the honor of Master of Photograph by both The Professional Photographers of America and the Australian Institute of Professional Photography. He has also been awarded a fellowship from the British Institute of Professional Photography, the organisation's highest level of achievement.
Lik's work can be seen in public galleries around the world, as well as in some of the world's most elite private collections, including the Queen of England and several American presidents.
