Brutalist pendant lamp "Rustik" by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen This rare pendant lamp is a true work of art. Designed by Svend Aage Holm Sorensen in the 1960s for the Danish company Hassel & Teudt. The lamp is part of the series "Rustik", type HT 16 . Svend Aage Holm Sørensen designs are powerful and outspoken. This sculptural pendant lamp is robust and elegant. It is constructed of a solid brass armature to which a four amber and gold colored, heavy, glass panels spiral around the light source. Svend Aage Holm Sørensen also designed wall lamps for the "Rustik" series. The pendant lamp is rarely seen today. The condition of the lamp is very good considering its age. The brass fixture has acquired a nice light patina. One of the glass panels appears to be glued in past. The lamp has a brass chain to support its weight. Extra chain included. The lamp has two small fittings for E14 light sources.
The dimensions are as follows: 37 cm in height by 23 cm in width.One glass panel has been re-glued in the past. This is barely visible on the outside.
