Zaandam, NetherlandsView all items from this sellerVintage chair by designer Paul Schuitema (ca.1935), produced by Fana/D3. This so-called paperclip chair, is upholstered with a velour wide rib. The seat was constructed from the bare frame and fitted with a fresh carpet pad after which the rib fabric was applied. Attached to the back of the chair is the original plate which shows that the chair was manufactured for the hairdressing equipment and supplies wholesaler Du Pont in The Hague.The chrome is in vintage condition and the frame appears slightly warped. The seat and back upholstery is new.
