Amsterdam, NetherlandsView all items from this sellerBeautiful modular wall cabinet by Pastoe designed by Cees Braakman. The cabinet is in excellent condition with minimal damage. The cabinet has a beautiful deep teak color. The light wood on the inside (drawers, shelves) has a super nice reflection of the wood grain.
The cabinet consists of a drawer block with 4 distinctive wavy drawers. A block with bar and flap. A wider block with 2 beautiful light wood shelves. An open block with shelf and a block with sliding doors that still run perfectly smoothly.
The legs are still perfect (no paint damage). All the back panels are present. There is also a bag of spare parts and Allen wrenches to take the cabinet together and apart. Pasto sticker is present in 1 of the drawers.
The cabinet has been restored once at a previous stage. This is very professionally done. I myself cleaned the cabinet well and waxed it again.On the second drawer from the top there is a chip off the veneer. I have touched up this part making it less noticeable.
In the bottom drawer there is a large dark stain. Presumably ink was dropped in here at some point. I tried to get it clean, but it really seems to be in the wood. I therefore left it as is so as not to damage the original wood. Fortunately, it is the bottom drawer and thus not very visible.
