The table is new. The design was Winner of the ' Interior Innovation Award' on behalf of the German Design Council.

Material: 3 cm thick solid oak, white powder-coated laser cut steel, stainless steel flange nuts.

Quote from designer Alfredo Häberli: “The idea was to design a social, warm yet visually lightweight table. The type of construction (sheet metal and wood) has drawn its inspiration from the modern details of the carpentry crafts; the console and joist pendants made of plain steel have their sophisticated rebirth. Different colors of the metal parts provide the table with different characters. I deliberately added a bar just above the floor, which serves to place your feet on”. This detail used to be part of many tables in the cafes of the 1920s and is now integrated in a contemporary way”. Another special detail: the corner of the table edge slopes outwards at the ends and angles inwards at the long sides, with the transition taking place at the corners of the table top. Sustainability: Stammtisch tables are largely made of sustainable wood and can be dismantled, sanded and revarnished when necessary for 'a new life'.
