Rare “Ondalunga” rocking chair designed in 1971 by Gastone Rinaldi and manufactured in Italy by Giuliano Pozzi. Gastone Rinaldi is the son of RIMA founder Mario Rinaldi and is famous for its metallic tubular seats. This rare rocking chair is made of a metallic tubular frame with 2 cushions upholstered in natural/orangish leather. The chair is in very good condition: - leather shows a beautiful patina with no tears nor scratches - the chromed tubular frame shows only a few scratches and corrosion points barely noticeable and consistent with age and use - the original underneath seat cover is torn apart (see picture) To put it in a nutshell, a very rare and eyecatching piece of Italian furniture in very good original and unrestored condition.
