Pirnay Natacha
Natacha Pirnay is a Belgian artist, born in Deurne in 1969. She is a painter and collage artist. She studied photography and graphic design at the Academy in Ghent, where she graduated in 1994. Her oeuvre consists of both figurative and abstract work. She often incorporates collage fragments, text and individual words into her works. From the press: “He previously created sentimental paintings in acrylic and oil paint, including pop art, but also retro collages of photos, such as women and cars, secrets, infinity, ....” Since 2000 she has taken part in exhibitions, including in the Colline Verte gallery in Borgloon in 2005, 2006 and 2008. In 2002 she won the sixth prize for painting from the Vermeylenfonds Oostende for her work Effusion de Sang. She works in Sint-Niklaas. (Piron)
