'QUILTED COAT'
The Chaplin is characterized by its nonchalant upholstery, which is draped around the frame like a pleasant quilted coat and closed by zippers. These soft upholsteries, in combination with the high backrest and generous armrests, offer sublime seating comfort and make Chaplin extremely suitable as a dining room chair or as a chair at the conference table.
These were the two unused chairs at my grandparents' breakfast table. 8 years ago the covers were re-treated and beautifully maintained each year.
Whether they are original cushions, I dare not say, but they were custom made with these chairs from the same leather. This for support of the lower back and you don't see more often with other sets.
In the picture there is a set of wheels missing, I briefly changed them to the original legs because the chair was on a slippery floor. Of course these wheels are included when you buy the chairDespite deep cleaning and maintenance by a professional, there are still some creases in the chair. But the chair can pass as nearly new.
