This is a practig painting painted in warm tones including red, orange and yellow by the Drenthe artist Milly Betten. The artwork is titled "Stereoscopy 5" and comes from the canvases Milly painted in 2002 with the theme "Stereoscopy". Stereoscopy is the fact that with one eye you receive a slightly different image on the retina than with the other eye making it possible to see spatially. The artist herself says of this work. It is a pasty painted piece on the top part and transparent strips on the bottom.
