This particularly comfortable office chair/armchair was designed by product designer Karl Dittert for Stoll Giroflex in the 1960s and has become a true classic. Dittert worked as a teacher, professor and founding rector at what is now the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Design . His works have received numerous awards and are shown internationally in renowned museums (including MOMA/ New York, Design Center/Stuttgart). Stoll is a furniture manufacturer that has specialized in the production of office furniture since the 1870s.
This special chair is upholstered in beautiful quality dark brown leather and has a backrest and seat shell made of oak. The chair is really in beautiful condition with only very minor signs of wear. The oak bowls are also in exceptionally good condition. The swivel mechanism of the armchair works smoothly, as do the tilt position and height adjustment. By adjusting the height, the seat can be varied between 46 and 59 cm. The chair is marked. An absolute showpiece of excellent quality and seating comfort that is truly impressive!
