1 table with storage compartments: Very nice as a studio table or desk. Sculptural, architectural effect. Cherry wood veneer top 248x110cm. Rosewood base Height with top 81cm. Aluminum protective edge.
The table was acquired in Cologne around the turn of the century and comes from one of the buildings designed by architect Wilhelm Riphahn or the Gerling Quartier. (Icons of post-war modernist architecture in Cologne). The table was therefore specially made by the architect. (There are 3 realized designs, one of which is for sale here) The top is veneered, with a surrounding edge covering the support structure. The very large table top can be easily detached from the frame and transported separately.Overall signs of age on the plate, but no splinters, cracks, possibly minor scratches see photos.
