mid century retro vintage cocktail bar 1940-1950
Fantastic corner cocktail bar made by Turnidge of London. This stunning piece is made from figured mahogany and was probably made between 1940-1950. The bar still has the flambouant style of the art deco eara and the first signs of mid century design. The top part is all mirrored inside with your typical cocktail sticks haning from the side, also lockable. And the bottom section has glass doors with a glass shelf.
All in all a cery stylish piece of design furniture, fantastic for your home entertainment.
From 1933 until their dissolution, Turnidge of London has been manufacturing cocktail cabinets, display cases, glass front bookcases, and Mid-Century Modern teak furniture.
Turnidge never advertised as they wanted to keep their furniture prices affordable for the consumer and not pass on advertising costs to their customers. Turnidge instead focused on building the best quality furniture to be sold at affordable prices.
In a very good used vintage condition, with some minor signs of use.
