A beautiful original Pipistrello, or bat, lamp designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 and produced by Martinelli Luce until today. Very impressive lamp with 4 lamps, a methacrylate plastic shade, height-adjustable telescopic body and cream metal conical base. The already quite large lamp can also be adjusted in height by turning out the telescopic part.
This is a slightly older model. It is estimated that this dates from between 1970 and 1980. As a result, some yellowing is visible on the metal parts and the round button on top of the lamp. This is slightly visible but also adds some character to the older lamp. Comes with a square push switch.
The sticker with the brand on the lamp holder is no longer present, but its print is present (see photo).
Furthermore, the lamp is in good condition. There are some very small spots and scratches on the metal base (see photo).The lamp is in very good vintage condition considering its age. There has been some yellowing and there are some small scratches and spots on the cream-colored metal base.
