Born with an artistic eye, and a passion for painting and sculpting. she makes jewelry and ceramics under the name MJ. The work can be abstract or figurative. The subject matter can take on an aesthetic or symbolic meaning within the context of the entire work, it can retain something of its original identity. Her career started as a professional painter in 1988 and in the meantime she also became a gifted ceramist who is always experimenting with new materials and techniques. Her works are also exhibited at home and abroad and in her own gallery in Ronse (B). Each work is authentic and hand signed.
