For 51 years, family business MARCJANSSEN has specialized in sustainably made, hand-knotted carpets. The passion, service and experience of founder Frits Janssen has been passed on from father to sons. Marc and Rogier Janssen are now at the helm of ICE International, of which MARCJANSSEN is a part.
MARCJANSSEN is co-founder and an active member of the trade association Care & Fair. Since 1995, Care & Fair has been fighting child labor in the production of carpets in India and Pakistan. The organization builds schools and clinics to improve the situation of carpet knotters, their relatives and local residents. MARCJANSSEN supports the projects financially and visits them regularly.
In India and Pakistan together, 13 schools have now been built that provide education for 4722 children.
The carpet is an India Salerno SCI 1402.0, size 300X250.Carpet has been used, but has none of the above defects!
