Cassina Maralunga, an icon designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, awarded a Compasso D'Oro prize in 1979 and included in MoMA's collection. This example is a 2-seat sofa in ivory-colored Alcantara. The sofa dates from the 1980s and is becoming extremely rare, especially in this condition. The backs of this sofa are individually adjustable, the mechanism of the backrest works perfectly.
Brand label present on label and in the black fabric of the seat.The seat is in incredibly good condition for its age,especially considering its light color. It shows light signs of use here and there, for example some pilling on the armrests as shown in the last photo.
