Schöneck, GermanyView all items from this sellerThe hand-forged bronze base of a floor lamp is for sale. It is a heavy, absolutely stable lamp base with a weight of approx. 32.8 kg. The lamp base was made in the forge of Lothar Klute in Sorpetal in Sauerland.
The base of the foot consists of four solid, slightly irregularly shaped bronze cubes arranged in a cross shape. The dimensions of the four cubes vary slightly: width/depth approx. 8-9 cm each. One cube is signed by Lothar Klute. The cross-shaped base has a total width/depth of 24 cm.
The vertical lamp base is made of four bronze rods that open at the top in the shape of a flower. The total height of the forged part is 167.5 cm (from the base).
It is switched on and off using a foot switch.
The bronze lamp base is for sale, but not the linen-covered lampshade shown in the photo. I only took the photo as an illustration so that you can better imagine what the lamp base looks like with a shade. The buyer should buy a lampshade to match their home. The endless variety of shapes, materials and colors available can be seen, for example, at www.lampenwelt.de. However, if - contrary to my expectations - there is also interest in the lampshade shown (not a Lothar Klute product), I will be happy to supply it.
